Milk, which we've been overbuying and goes right to the freezer, butter, which I accidentally underbought and lived without for two weeks, both from Maplehofe Dairy, and three cheeses. Hot Pepperjack Cheddar from Hillacres Pride, which might have beaten out the smoked cheddar as my favorite Hillacres Pride cheese, and chive chevre and goat mozzarella from Lindendale Farm.
The chevre is a standard around here and I've already mixed a tablespoon of it with a tablespoon of red wine vinegar for a simple, creamy, tangy salad dressing. The goat mozzarella is a giant question mark. I'm defrosting pizza dough right now.
